I’m going to make two pre-finishing book recommendations.

1. Delirium | Lauren Oliver : Set in a time where love is a disease that one must be cured of— but you can’t be cured until you’re 18. People are matched with mates by the government, and anyone found with signs of the delirium are taken into custody and operated on
2. The Things They Carried | Tim O’Brien : Many short stories that are tied together to talk about the Vietnam War. I’m not a war-book person, but holy shit. This is some seriously top-notch writing. 

Okay, so these books are totally and completely different in every way possible. But anyway. (I’m reading #2 for school, but loving it).
